Specialist in Chronic Pain & Trauma-Informed Therapy
Are you done letting persistent pain and lingering trauma dictate your life? I hear you. I’m Elysia Bronson, a dedicated therapist who works with people wrestling with chronic pain and trauma—and those who are just frankly sick of “pacing the pain–anxiety–exhaustion cycle.”
Why I Do This
It’s personal. Living with chronic pain isn’t only about discomfort—it’s about what that pain steals: connection, joy, self-trust. Add trauma into the mix, and everything gets harder: your body, your mind, your sense of safety. I use both genuine empathy and evidence-based approaches to help you reclaim parts of you that pain and trauma have sidelined.
How I Work
Trauma-informed care: We’ll work with what your body and nervous system are trying to tell us, not against them.
Chronic pain management: I support you in learning how to live alongside pain—without letting it run the show.
Integrated approach: Combining mindfulness, compassionate inquiry, CBT/DBT-style tools, music therapy, online self-paced courses and somatic awareness, health coaching, we’ll tailor what you need—not the other way around.
Strength-building over fixes: There’s no “magic wand” to eliminate pain or undo trauma overnight. But there is the opportunity to build resilience, adaptability, and meaning.
Safe space, zero judgment: Whether you’re frustrated, furious, or just exhausted—those reactions make sense. You’re allowed to bring them, and we’ll lean into them together.
Who I Support
Adults experiencing persistent pain or health conditions (fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, autoimmune-related pain, post-injury pain, etc.).
Survivors of trauma whose pain may be tied to nervous system dysregulation or emotional overwhelm.
People ready to shift from “suffering through” to “coping consciously” and reclaiming a life they can mostly enjoy, despite pain.
Those who understand this won’t be simple, but are willing to commit to the journey.
What You Can Expect
In our sessions you’ll get heard deeply, learn practical tools you can actually use, and build a personalized roadmap for your life—from surviving to thriving (or at least less surviving). We’ll work at your pace, with your goals in view.
Because at the end of the day: pain might not totally vanish, but your relationship with it can change. Your sense of self, your capacity to engage in life, your hope—these are worth fighting for.
Ready to step into a different way of living? I would love to support you in that.
