Dillon, Sonia - Registered Psychotherapist, MACP
True Therapy
Private practice (individual)
I believe that healing begins in a space of safety, understanding, and collaboration. As a therapist, my approach is rooted in warmth, compassion, and deep empathy for the challenges you may be facing. I specialize in helping individuals and couples work through childhood adverse experiences, trauma, anxiety, and depression, and the way past wounds may still shape your life and relationships today. My work is tailored to your unique needs, I use an eclectic approach to support your growth in a way that feels right for you.
I am trained in EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a powerful tool for processing trauma and reducing its emotional weight. I also incorporate CBT to address unhelpful thought patterns, Internal Family Systems (IFS) to explore and heal inner conflicts, and EFT designed for couples and individuals.
My goal is to work with you as a guide and a partner in uncovering the roots of your present-day struggles. We’ll explore what may be holding you back from living a more fulfilling, authentic life, whether it’s anxiety, self-doubt, relationship challenges, or unresolved trauma. You don’t have to face this alone, lets take the first step of healing together!
