Welcome! I’m Cierra DoCouto, a Registered Psychotherapist based in Burlington, Ontario, offering in-person and virtual therapy across Ontario for adults navigating anxiety, people-pleasing, relationship stress, self-esteem challenges, overthinking, and difficulty setting healthy boundaries.
Many of the clients I work with are tired of constantly overthinking conversations, feeling responsible for other people’s emotions, or saying “yes” when they really want to say “no.” You may feel emotionally exhausted from putting others first, stuck in unhealthy relationship patterns, or disconnected from your own needs and sense of self. Even when you appear high-functioning on the outside, anxiety, self-doubt, and guilt may feel overwhelming internally.
I’m known for my down-to-earth, compassionate, and approachable style. My goal is to create a warm, non-judgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are without pressure to have everything figured out. My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and tailored to your individual needs, integrating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), IFS-informed therapy, mindfulness, somatic strategies, and attachment-focused work.
Together, we may work toward building self-trust, improving emotional regulation, strengthening communication, and developing healthier boundaries and relationships to help you feel more connected with who you are at your core.
Currently accepting new clients. Free 20-minute phone consultations are available. Sessions offered in Burlington and virtually across Ontario.
